Canal cruise to Edinburgh

You would begin your journey by riding up through the Falkirk Wheel, an experience not to be missed. You would join the Wheel on a aqueduct, which will then rotate and bring you to join the Union Canal. You pass through two sets of locks just above it, which will then sets you along your journey, which is lock free throughout its entire length.
You’ll cruise through the 690 years Falkirk Tunnel which is very dark and spooky and then over the Avon and Almond aqueducts with some breathtaking scenery – have your camera ready!
Pass through the historic Burgh of Linlithgow, where you can stop for provisions, some sightseeing at the Palace, sample some local produce at, The Auld Hole in the Wall or simply enjoy a light refreshment at The Star & Garter, one of Linlithgow’s many watering holes! We know too well that it’s thirsty work taking in all the scenery and wildlife on your exciting journey.
Resume your journey passing through Broxburn then Ratho where you can stop and watch the world go by at The Old Bridge Inn.
